Admission to this graduate program is selective. The admission committee carefully reviews each candidate’s academic preparation and achievements for admission on a rolling basis.
Once the admissions office receives all application credentials, the admission committee will review each candidate’s application. Candidates for the MPH program may be asked to connect with faculty within the Department of Public Health & Prevention Science to discuss this program and their goals to pursue a career in public health. The admission committee will contact candidates to schedule these discussions once an application and supporting credentials have been received.
Students are selected based on:
- Online application (no application fee)
- College/University Transcripts (Bachelor’s degree required)
- 2 Years of Relevant Work Experience to be considered for the Leadership track
- Two Letters of Recommendation
- Resume
- Brief Personal Statement
Tuition & Financial Aid
2023-2026 Tuition
Tuition includes Friday night meals and MetroHealth site parking for those doing the program in person.
$689/credit for those beginning in Spring 2023
$31,005 for the entire program (45 credits) over three years, part-time
Financial Aid & Payment Plans
Students can cover the entire cost of the MPH Program, including books and miscellaneous non-program costs, with Federal Direct Student Loans and Grad PLUS Loans. To qualify for these loans, you must complete the Federal Application for Federal Student Aid or FAFSA. Visit Financial Aid for Graduate Students for more information.
Baldwin Wallace also offers a monthly payment plan that allows students to pay their tuition in monthly installments. There is a $30 service charge per semester, but otherwise, no additional finance charges unless monthly payments are late. This allows you to divide your tuition into five monthly payments throughout the semester.
