School Leadership

Our MAEd in School Leadership, Principal’s License and Superintendent’s License programs help explore theories and practices that promote the success of all students in today’s diverse school environments. Learn the elements of developing a school vision, high standards of learning, and continual improvement that fosters comprehensive development for those within your school district. Internships within school systems provide experiential learning that prepares future leaders for success from day one. BW graduates are represented across Northeast Ohio and are demonstrating their impact – chances are that if you work in our school systems, you have collaborated alongside alumni from BW.

Leadership in Technology

Our MAEd in Leadership in Technology for Teaching and Learning, K-12 Computer/Technology Endorsement and Online Instructor and Blended Learning Certificate are designed to meet the needs of professionals whose roles include teaching or training in the public or private sector. The program blends educational theory, practice and field experience into a learning experience that develops skills applicable to complex real-world problems. The courses may be taken as part of the degree program or independently. The MAEd leadership in technology program is nationally recognized and meets all requirements of the International Standards for Technology in Education (ISTE).

Literacy & Special Needs Programs

Our MAEd in Literacy, K-12 Reading Endorsement and MAEd in Mild/Moderate Educational Needs + Intervention K-12 Specialist License prepare teachers to fulfill the growing demand for special education and reading teachers. Candidates will bring their professional practice to a new level through programs offered in an online, interactive format to allow you to balance work, life, and family.
