Our Leadership in Technology programs meet all the requirements of the International Standards for Technology in Education (ISTE) and helps enhance knowledge of how technology can be used to improve learning outcomes through a blend of educational theory, practice, and field experience. Competencies that are acquired in this program can also be applied real-time to help you manage the pace of change.

Stackable Credentials – Earn as You Learn

Take the first three courses and earn the online instructor and blended learning certification to quickly add a valuable skill set to your professional credentials in as little as two semesters attending part-time.

Add 13 more credits to complete the K-12 Computer/Technology Endorsement and the final 12 credits of an advanced practice minor to earn the MAEd in Leadership in Technology degree.

MAEd in Leadership in Technology for Teaching and Learning

This program is designed to meet the needs of professionals whose roles include teaching or training in the public or private sector – it is designed for both educators and non-educators.

K-12 Computer/Technology Endorsement

Online | 22 Credit Hours | Finish in Less Than 2 Years

The courses in the program are designed to produce an endorsement on the Ohio teaching certificate in educational computing and technology literacy as established by the Ohio Department of Education. Teachers may add the computer/technology endorsement to an existing license without completing an entire master’s degree. Teachers will earn the computer/technology endorsement by completing required coursework and state exam.

Online Instructor and Blended Learning Certificate

BW’s Online Instructor and Blended Learning Certification is designed to assist educators and other professionals in developing and improving the delivery of online courses and blended learning modules in a fast-paced world where remote instruction is increasingly important. BW’s focus on applied learning means you will be able to make immediate use of what you learn. This certificate program is offered entirely online and offers flexibility and convenience for working professionals. The short-term nature of a graduate certificate program helps you quickly add a valuable skill set to your professional credentials in as little as two semesters, attending part-time.

I met other professionals from the Cleveland area; collaborated with classmates, professors and colleagues; created fun, interactive projects for my classroom; and learned the ins and outs of technology in a school community – all of which became a part of my growth as an educator. I feel prepared to talk with administrators and other technology coaches in our school community, as well as continue to take on the challenges presented by evolving technology. I hope to help other teachers understand how technology can change their classrooms and maximize student achievement.
